Parrupu Podi Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup  gram dal
  • 1 cup toor dal
  • 1 Pottu kadalai (roasted gram)
  • 5 whole red pepper
  • a pinch of asafetida
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 2-3 curry leaves
  • salt to taste

 Method

  • Roast the above without oil
  • add salt and asafoetida
  • add cumin seeds and curry leaves
  • Now grind it into a very fine powder. 
  • Best Serve with Plain Rice.
